Central Asian Studies Society

The University of Tsukuba Central Asian Study Group was inaugurated to emphasize and encourage the research into Central Asian region. It was set up as part of the efforts to enhance Central Asian research program with the intention of becoming a forum where scholars and students from various disciplines and fields can meet freely together and discuss issues from a multidisciplinary standpoint. It is hoped that these and other activities will help develop and advance Central Asian research and educational program at the University of Tsukuba on a qualitatively high level.
