The purpose of the Middle East and Central Asia Studies Course focuses on various issues relating to the Middle East (from Maghrib to Iran/Afghanistan) and the Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyz). Student develop their research theme under the guidance of teaching staffs, and deepen their understanding of the area of interest, from the civilizations of the ancient Western Asia and of the Silk Road to modern issues in the politics, economy, culture and languages.
